Canadian sales of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class jumped 75% to 1044 units in February 2017, enough for the C-Class to easily lead all premium brand vehicles and rank seventh among passenger cars overall.

Through the first one-sixth of 2017, the C-Class is Canada's tenth-best-selling car. Sales of the C-Class have increased, year-over-year, in ten consecutive months even as Canadian sales of passenger cars continue to slide.

February 2017 was also the first month in which Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Canada sold Alfa Romeo Giulia sedans. The first three Giulias in Canada found homes last month. Not surprisingly, there have been some quality concerns with the Giulias driven by major publications. 

The C-Class is by no means the only luxury car to report Canadian sales growth. The new Audi A4 is surging, on track for a record sales year. The Acura TLX, BMW 3-Series, Mercedes-Benz CLA, Audi's A6 and A7, Lincoln MKZ, and Maserati Ghibli are all on the rise, as well.
